Personal Comments:
I started my gaming with the VIC 64 in 1984. And I never looked back.
I am a train engineer for 16 years here in Stockholm, nowdays mostly commuter
trains, you do get bored of hotels. Married since 1986, three children
(boys), takes to much time from my online playing! Been a computer gamer
since the C64 days followd by Amiga 500 1200. now PC . Thats about as
interesting I can get on this forum. Wonder if anyone has read this last
sentence.

IN
PROFILE: INTERVIEW CONDUCTED IN MARCH 2003
General Questions:
Can you start by introducing yourself?
My real name is Lars. I live outside Stockholm
in Sweden. I am the senior
of the Hussars being born 1959.
What's the story behind the alias(es)? - Why did
you pick the Hussar one you did?
The Richthoven name suited me him not being English
and lacking understanding whith English humor.( not really). My other
name Agrajag is of course from the Hitch Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy,
the creature who numerously times gets killed by Arthur Dent and respawns.
When did you first start playing multi-player
games and what were they?
24/8/2001
- the day I got my broadband. Life never been the same. Started with
counterstrike moved on to RTCW which I played a lot also some MOH..
Do you have a family and if so what do they think
of you playing online games?
My family consist of my wife Eva, and our three
sons. Rickard 14, Alexander 12 and Gustav 8. Eva's opinion of my onlinegaming
is at its best condescending. Rickard plays online and Gustav uses mostly
his PS2.
What other hobbies do you have outside gaming?
Hobbies would be skiing in the winter and fishing
in the summer.
What do you like about where you live?
The place I live in suits the purpose. close to
communications, stores and schools. Green areas and a lake close by.
What is (are) your favourite colours? If you play
IL-2 would you use them as your skin colour?
Dark blue, no it wouldent suit the red baron.
What do you do for a living?
I'm
a train engineer. Nowadays mostly commuter trains. I used to drive all
over the country with fright trains and passenger trains, but that takes
a lot of your free time sleeping in hotels.
Battlefield
1942 Questions:
How did you first start playing BF?
Read
about in a computer magazine. Got the demo, loved it.
What do you consider the best things about BF?
It's
quite well balanced between the different roles and vehicles which makes
it necessary to balance the team, making it good for teamplay.
Conversely, which things do you hate?
The
usual stuff. TKers, hangar campers ...
What are your favourite maps?
Favorite
map is quite hard, depends on who you play with but if I must say it's
Market Garden.
Least favourite maps?
The
small desert map (Operation Battleaxe).
What enhancements would you like to see?
The
ability to prime your hand granade, the M1 Garand, and of course the
Panzer train. (Of course? - Ed.)
The
Hussars Questions:
How did you find the Hussars or how did they find
you?
Browsing
through some forums, stumbled in to one with people with similar ideas
on how to play this game. Joined the forum and enjoyed reading it, then
the Hussars started recruiting and I applied, never thought they would
accept me.
How does playing with the Hussars compare to other
games/matches?
I
have nearly stopped playing outside the community, it only aggravates
you!
What changes (if any) would you like the Hussars
as a clan to consider?
Changes
to the clan? None that I can come up with.
Computer Questions:
What other PC talents (if any) do you have?
No
talents. I consider myself quite good with computers, have been using
them since early 80's. The only extra 'skill' I possess might be some
programming in c++ and java. But sinces I upgraded to XP and the borland
generator didn't like it, the programming is on ice, and knowledge is
quickly vanishing.
What sort of system do you have at the moment?
Athlon
2000+ 512 ram gf4 ti 4400
What would your dream system be?
More
and bigger of everything
Any PC games you are really looking forwards to?
The
vietnam looks tempting , and a new panzer elite would be fun
Thanks
for your time, Lars
