I've
tried to like this game, I really have but it's as about as
exciting as doing 200 dot to dot pictures with a dry ballpoint.
All you EVER do is 'find a target, hack at it until it dies,
pick up money, find another creature, hack at it until it
dies..........' This goes on forever will little or no variation
what so ever.
Sure
you can add slight tactics to it, draw the aggressive beasts
away from the other beasts, maybe form an alliance with someone
and then you can kill the monsters fa..st....er.........zzzzzzzzz
The
sole idea behind this game is to become powerful, to what
end? Oh oh I know, so you can kill very powerful monsters?
YEAH! Maybe form alliances with more very powerful players.....to
kill........oh wait I just said that...quick someone hand
me those wake up pills.
When
you first start you're level 1 (duh). You batter small dogs
until you level up, then you batter more small dogs to level
up again, then you batter wolves to level up a bit faster.
By the time you get to level 10 you bored shitless and you
just want to batter the makers to bits with the box!
Oh
did I mention the game has more bugs than an ant farm? I have
lost count the amount of times I have fallen through the floor.
Continous graphical glitches, players using macros to gain
an advantage and there are hundreds of bots. There are so
many people playing this game so they can sell in game money,
for real money! This isn't done just on Ebay but on countless
sites and NCSoft do little to stop it.
I'm
so f*cked off with this game and NC Soft's lack of balls that
it's started to really grate at my senses. People cheat, they
scam, they torment, they abuse, yet again the admins do feck
all!
This
game has until Chronicles to improve itself and the adena
(in game currency) sales must be stopped!
Ryzom
had variation, you could mine for materials, craft items (anyone
could do it). You had better customisation and it played a
whole lot better too.
Lineage
2 is not worth scoring.
NOTE: In fairness it should be pointed
out that a number of other members did enjoy this game and
thought Bunn's review was overly harsh.
